Pink Skullcap makes a great little groundcover for the Southwest! This compact plant will generally grow to about 1 ft by 1-2 ft wide, possibly a little bigger in the shade. Waves of pink flowers that look like little snapdragons will grace this plant from spring through fall. In the Las Vegas this plant will do best with some afternoon shade, but does great in full sun elsewhere. In colder areas it might need a good hard pruning in the spring to remove frost-damaged foliage.
