Probably the best over-all Nectarine you can grow in Southern Nevada. Our Arctic Star comes from Dave Wilson Nursery, one of the best sources of fruit trees in the Country. It is the earliest to ripen of the low acid, super-sweet white nectarines. Beautiful dark red skin, snow white semi-freestone flesh. Ripens towards the end of June in Las Vegas. Self-fruitful and a low 300 hour chilling requirement. This Arctic Star White Nectarine comes on Nemaguard root stock, which we feel has superior disease, vitality and drought tolerance than other more commonly used root stocks. Make sure you have good drainage when planting your tree. If your site has poor drainage, planting in a mound or heavy soil amending is recommended.
