Winter Blaze Emu Bush

Evergreen glossy foliage, tubular red flowers during most of the year, and tougher than grandma’s fruitcake.  What is not to love. This Emu Bush has a compact growth habit that does well in full sun but will tolerate some shade. In Las Vegas you can pretty much plant it anywhere, it will tolerate clay compact soils and slow drainage. Winter blaze is aptly named because it is a beautiful winter bloomer. It will bloom in late fall through spring and bring color during the cold winter months.
