It prefers moist, but well-drained soils and can be grown in full sun here.  Tea tree oil, also known as Melaleuca oil, is an essential oil that comes from steaming the leaves of the tree. When this tree flowers, you will notice. The blossoms are frothy white like the top of a latte and will draw all eyes to it. The Paperbark tree is a small tree and is ideal for smaller yards.
