This evergreen shrub is native to Mexico and South America. Mexican Honeysuckle will bloom all year long in warmer areas and only during the summer in the colder parts of its range. Hummingbirds love its orange tube like flowers. In Las Vegas it is recommend to only plant in areas with morning sun or light shade. Too much sun during the summer and it will start to look beat up. Moderate water is good, but too much will cause chlorosis. Prune as desired to keep small, but in areas that get hard frosts, you might want to prune before spring growth to clean up the form.
