This tree has smooth, white, copper, pinkish colored bark that is beautiful when it sheds. This tree is a popular ornamental in southern Australia due to its attractive, large, lemon-yellow flowers. It is also frost tolerant and will attract birds and bees. The Lemon Flowered Gum is suited to be used as a privacy screening plant or a feature plant it has a medium growth rate and requires very little pruning.
