A slow to moderate growing, evergreen shrub native to southern Arizona and northern Mexico The dark green, leathery and lance-shaped leaves are similar to oleander. Clusters of white flowers appear in late spring, eventually developing into persistent tan colored fruit. Rosewood may be planted in full sun and but requires good drainage. Unlike oleander, there is no toxicity with this plant. It can be trained into a small tree or left natural and it will grow into a beautiful multi-trunked specimen. Maintain size by reducing irrigation. V. Paucifilora is the same as the regular Arizona Rosewood except its a more compact variety with smaller leaves
