This durable fast growing Indian Hawthorn shrub reaches 4-6 feet tall and as wide. Grown for its beautiful dark green leaves and fragrant dark pink flowers that bloom from early spring through fall. It thrives in hot desert climates and the more mild conditions along the coast. This shrub can handle full sun here in Las Vegas but it will look better if you can give it some shade during the day. Drought tolerant once established and it is not picky about soil type or pH. Organic mulch is highly recommended to prevent the roots from drying out between watering. Rock mulch is not recommended.
